Our company was born 10 years ago, in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, where we were based the first two years. We continued our work in Tijuana over the following six years and, on December 17th, 2002, we got incorporated in San Diego, CA as Zavala Iron Doors, Inc., and have since served the U.S. market exclusively, working in accordance with Cal-OSHA regulations.
Since the beginning, we knew that the secret to our success, and our greatest asset, was our people and their experience, as evidenced by the fact that the average length of service for our personnel is four years and growing. Some of our Iron workers have been with us for 10 years, as you will be able to see in the quality of our work which, although we have only been serving the U.S. market for two years, already surpasses that of our competitors who have been in the U.S. for over 10 years.
Our company is comprised of a team of 32 workers, all working under the same mindset: Every time we make, hand-forge, paint, and sell a door, we do so with all the care and attention to detail as if the door were for our own home
